Someone just recognized me. Like, around town. I’ve lived here long enough that people recognize me.
I was riding my bike home from work and I thought I heard my name so I turned to look and whoever it was and they said “IT IS! HEY! TOM MURPHY!”
My eyes are bad enough that I couldn’t tell who it was cause they were too blurry and I didn’t recognize their voice so I just waved vaguely at them and kept going.
I have no idea who it was. Not even an inkling or guess. I don’t think anyone really knows my last name around here. Maybe someone from Best Buy? But I don’t think anyone there knew my last name, really. I dunno. It was just weird for me.
